Childcare Near Rockdale | Rawson St Kids Early Learning Centre

Looking for childcare near Rockdale? Rawson St Kids Early Learning Centre is just next door in Bexley, at 15 Rawson Avenue. We’re a family-owned long day care Centre for children from 6 weeks to school age, open Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:00pm, 51 weeks a year.

Why Rockdale families choose us

• Close to home, without the big-Centre feel. We’re a smaller, family-owned Centre, so educators know every child and every family by name.
• Hours for commuting parents. We open at 7:30am and close at 6:00pm, so there’s time for drop-off and pick-up around the train or the drive home.
• Less to pack. Meals, nappies (up to age three), homemade organic coconut oil wipes and formula (under 12 months) are all supplied.
• Stay connected during the day. The Kinderm8 family app sends you photos, updates and learning stories.
• Ready for big school. Our Preschool Room helps children build the independence and confidence to start kindergarten.

How we help children learn

Our educators follow the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and plan play-based experiences around each child’s interests. STEM, sport and dance add variety to the week, and our indoor and outdoor spaces encourage children to explore and try new things.
